The Flow of Caring (Valentine's Day)

The Flow of Caring
When there’s strife in politics and unrest around the world, some people or groups become polarized. Others protest by raising the torch to remind people to be kind, humane, and caring. It’s essential for people to care and feel cared for when they are at home, at work, or in their community.
Take Care of Yourself. What have you planned for today and this week to ensure you get some self-care? Have you gotten some rest, quiet time, time to reflect, time to learn (a good book or video or podcast?), time to meditate, time to exercise, take a walk, time in nature, time for music, time to stretch?
Take Care of Those You Love.Have you made the time for your relationships? Have you read to someone? Have you shared a cartoon or a joke? Have you called a parent, grandparent, or sibling? Have you taken an elderly relative or friend to lunch? Have you given a hug? Do you remember to say “I love you” when you leave the house and greet your family lovingly when you return? Do you check-in? Do you take moments to appreciate and not take for granted?
Take Care of Others and Contribute. Everyone learning, working, improving TOGETHER can make a difference for the good of all in the world. The world has abundant resources if they are adequately distributed.
Valentines Day originated in the year 496 at a Roman festival. Since then customs around the world vary to commemorate this day of love and romance. In many countries people give cards, flowers, candy, or gifts to those they love.
In Japan and South Korea for example, females give males cards or chocolates on Feb. 14th. The favor is returned on White Day, March 14th when the men present women with gifts. The tradition endures that love and relationships are celebrated on Feb. 14th.
Give someone you care about my new book.
